Everyone has a story to tell
Re-Live is a life story arts charity in Wales. Our practice is creative and relational, supporting people to explore and express their lived experiences through theatre, comics, songs, poetry and prose.
Our latest work
Poetry and prose, comics and songs, co-created with people sharing their own stories. Gifts with a story behind them this Christmas, and every purchase supports Re-Live's work.
We Are Still Standing with dippy eggs and chips emerged from a creative writing group for women from the Armed Forces community.
Through poetry and prose, the collection moves between friendship, military life, softness and survival, and the people, animals and moments that bring meaning to our lives.
Every copy sold supports Re-Live's creative work with veterans and their families in Wales.
Four stories co-created alongside people living with dementia and their families in Wales and Japan. Also available in Welsh and Japanese language versions.
A Space in the Woods is a collection of eighteen original songs co-created with veterans, veterans' families and community members from across Wales and presented as a beautifully designed double vinyl album.
Moving between folk, acoustic and contemporary influences, the album offers an intimate portrait of lives shaped by service, family and community. From quiet moments of reflection to stories of friendship, resilience and humour, A Space in the Woods invites listeners into experiences that are rarely heard.
Stories that travel
Over the last five years, 384 people have co-created life story work with us. More than 1,800 professionals have taken part in our training, and over 129,000 people have met the work as audiences and readers.
The Re-Live book
