Who We Are

Since 2006 Re-Live have been creating innovative theatre and life story work with older people in Wales.

We are passionate about giving a platform to the voices of a generation seldom heard in our communities.

Alison O'Connor has extensive experience of applied theatre work in prisons, mental health settings and with vulnerable groups across the UK. She is a trained Cognitive Behavioural counsellor and has worked with Age Concern, Cardiff.  Alison also works as a freelance trainer using drama-based techniques as a tool for personal development and change.

Karin Diamond works in theatre, film and television. Her work as a freelance trainer includes designing communication skills programmes for The Welsh Assembly Government, Social Services and across the healthcare field. In 2010 Karin was awarded a Winston Churchill travel fellowship to research arts with older people with Dr Yukimi Uchide - General Director of the Social Welfare Foundation Tenjin-kai in Ofunato Japan. Dr Uchide is a leader in the field of creative and reciprocal approaches to aged care.

Alison and Karin have worked together for over 20 years on many theatre projects across the U.K and in Romania.
